Every man was created for a purpose. Understanding this purpose will help you to fulfill your destiny on earth. Purpose simply means the reason why you do what you do – the rationale behind your actions. Nobody is a by-product of accident. You did not just happen; you exist for a reason. An in-depth understanding of your purpose on earth will empower you to face the challenges of life boldly, with a rugged determination to succeed. This knowledge will provide the strength, wisdom and initiative you need to positively impact your generation.
Self-worth (esteem) is developed when an individual is fully persuaded that he or she has a destiny to fulfill. We all have different roles to play on earth. The earth will be cheated if you shy away from your responsibilities.
Unfortunately, many people have died without discovering their roles and fulfilling their divine obligations on earth due to ignorance, laziness, doubt and lack of vision. Thus, the graveyard is full of untapped potentials.
We will find it difficult to comprehend purpose without defining destiny. Destiny is “a course or path in life that includes both the God-given destination you are seeking at life’s end and your own faith-filled journey toward that destination”. Destiny is not an act of fate or chance; you have a part to play. It is a process that involves your will. You can determine your destiny (for good or evil) by the decisions you make. Decision is a product of choice, but your choice is the proof of your conviction and beliefs.
